Drama at Dauntsey's

"Les Miserables"

Book and Music by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg, Lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer

Date: December 2002

Venue: Memorial Hall

Dauntsey's School was the first school in England to perform Les Miserables. This lavish production included costumes from the West End show and was an impressive showcase for music and drama in the school. Principal roles were sung and acted with skill, precision and passion. It is a feature of Dauntsey's productions that the choral singing and acting is of an equally exacting standard, and this cast were no exception.
