Drama at Dauntsey's

"Jam"

By Graham Fife, adapted by Matthew Herring & David Howell

Date: 25th-27th September 2007

Venue: Annabel's Studio

This fast paced comedy was Mr Herring's directorial debut at Dauntsey's after joining the school in 2006. "Jam" is a 100 MPH high octane black comedy which takes you beyond the traffic jam and into the mind of the Driver. We witnessed him as he tried to make the simple journey from A to B, yet gets caught up in a Jam – a metaphor for the human condition. First seen at the Edinburgh Festival in ‘94, this play mixed fast packed action, razor sharp dialogue and an original music underscore – into a piece that was faster than a Ferrari in Montreal!
