Drama at Dauntsey's

Dauntsey’s School’s production of Miss Saigon (School’s Edition) went down a storm on Monday 19th March in front of a very appreciative crowd at the Prince Edward Theatre, London. Re-staged for the West End, the show took everyone involved in the December production and re-located them in one of London’s largest theatres for a special one off performance.

After an unprecedented busy day on Dauntsey’s Box Office, Miss Saigon tickets virtually sold out on the very first day.

We will do our best to process any returns as soon as we can so more seats become available.

Anyone who had problems trying to book tickets for Dauntsey’s production of Miss Saigon in the West End, this was down to the sheer volume of tickets being purchased all at once. Things have settled down now on the Box Office so if you were having problems earlier try again.

Tickets go on sale for our very special performance at the Prince Edward Theatre in the heart of the West End on Monday morning at 9am. The Box Office is currently closed while final preparation are made for what we are expecting will be a mad rush to purchase tickets.

So after a fantastic run on home turf, the cast, crew and orchestra of Miss Saigon will now be hitting the West End for a one night run at the magnificent Prince Edward Theatre. Full details will be available i the New Year once we’ve fully digested the news along with the ChristmasTurkey. In 2003 we performed Les Miserables at the Prince of Wales and it was a brilliant day. If March 19th comes close to that last London performance we are in for a treat both on and off the stage!

This week we welcomed back to school OD Dan Ings to talk to the L6 about his performance in Frankenstein and offer guidance about the show before their AS exam next week. It was certainly a very useful chat and thanks to Dan for taking time out to come back. Catch him in Psychoville 2 on BBC2 now and if you have sharp eyes, in the new “Pirates of the Caribbean” movie!
